Animal Life

Beyond water and plants there should be other life forms at a lake, right? Some appear to be alien:

Some are household pets who have escaped or been dumped into a pond.

This longhorn cow is one of the largest animals we've seen.

Birds are the most common animal life; surprisingly, I've seen only four fish (in the water or caught by a fisherman). Here's one of them:

Here comes a black swan, which my wife says is quite rare.

More birds, having lunch of seeds left by a bird-feeding power walker.

The HAWK is looking for meat for his LUNCH.

Lunch is trying to hide...

The hunters are everywhere looking for a meal - here we see a beautiful coyote

There's non-stop action at the lakes and ponds,

IF you look closely.
